Jeff Goldman of FTRN

After recently posting about Fair Trade Resource Network’s (FTRN) recent webinar, Anti-Body had the thrill of actually meeting Executive Director, Jeff Goldman! Thanks to Joan Harper of Fair Trade LA, who hosted a meet-and-greet after the Expo West in Anaheim, members of FTLA and Fair Trade Pasadena were able to talk with Jeff about the Expo, FTRN, certification and the FT movement in the U.S.

We were super stoked to finally meet Jeff face-to-face after a couple years worth of countless emails, endless (!) conference calls and campaign collaborations (remember Fair Trade the White House?!).

A big thanks to Jeff for taking the time to visit our Fair Trade Towns committees and for the great work FTRN is doing in spreading awareness. Visit their site regularly for informative news and ways to engage in the fair trade movement. And remember, World Fair Trade Day is just around the corner (14 May 2011) and FTRN has great resources, ideas and free stuff!
