Azusa Pacific’s annual fundraiser event, Dinner Rally 2008, featured two of its alum, Olympic gold medalist Bryan Clay and Steven Moser, co-founder of Anti-Body.  Steven focused on the global impact of fair trade and how this emerging movement to eliminate poverty extends our organic certified mindset to a more encompassing practice that is better for the consumers, laborers and environment.  Anti-Body was introduced at Dinner Rally with The Chronicle Project’ short, a highlight of Steven and his goal of making fair trade products more accessible to consumers.

At the event, Steven met Ivan Misner, an entrepreneur and professor, who was encouraged to hear about college graduates starting a business grounded in a passion for social justice (check out his blog, highlighting Anti-Body: Do What You Love and You’ll Love What You Do.

Steven hopes that Saturday’s event encouraged people to think globally and that fair trade makes shopping and living with a conscience easier.
